Arkadiusz Woźniak

Ph.D. Eng. Arkadiusz Wozniak - assistant professor in the Department of Underwater Work Technology at the Naval Academy (KTPP AMW) in Gdynia, associated with diving for 30 years. Since 1995, he served on ORP "Zwinny" and then as deputy manager of the Navy's Central Salvage Equipment Plant in Gdynia. From 2004 to 2014, he served as a diving specialist and head of the Marine Rescue and Underwater Work Division of the Marine Rescue Headquarters. He carried out diving, underwater rescue operations and international cooperation in the rescue of submarine crews. From 2005 to 2012, deputy chairman of the MW Divers Qualification Commission. Since 2014, he has been engaged in teaching and scientific and research activities at the KTPP AMW. The area of scientific interest includes the issues of performing military and saturation dives, the operation of hyperbaric systems, as well as the problems of treatment of respiratory agents and physicochemical analyses of respiratory gases. He participates in research work carried out for the NCBiR and the AMW Product Certification Center. In 2018, after 28 years of service, he retired from the reserves with the rank of Lieutenant Commander. Member of the Polish Society of Hyperbaric Medicine and Technology, Underwater Diving Working Group NSO and Military Centre for Standardization, Quality and Codification (WCNJK).  Author of monographs, scientific publications, departmental studies and standardization acts related to related to national defense and security.
