Edoardo Pavia

I started to understand that diving was my life at the age of 6, in the intense blue Mediterranean water. My first approach to the water world was driven by the desire to chase fishes and any underwater creatures. Then my first deep love, free diving for more than 15 years.

I started to dive with OC in the mid 80's then in 1996 I casually dove with the Dragher Dolphin in Papua New Guinea, and later in 1998 I went through my mod 1 class CCR. In 2000, after my first daughter Matilda was born, I established the Sea Dweller Divers C., a technical shop and diving school, specialized in selling technical dive equipment. Since 2002 I turned to be the Italian distributor for AP Valves CCR in Italy. I managed to make a rapid career in the leading technical agency IANTD as instructor and then as Instructor Trainer. At present I’m still committed to deep diving and underwater filming, as well as rebreather training. I had the honor to participated to some of the most challenging expedition to mention some: four times on the Britannic, on the Andrea Doria, on the Victoria in Lebanon, several times on the Viminale, once, which I believe is enough, on the Carpathia, (155m+ depth) and to the Antartic continent, just to mention my most famous expeditions.

I’m also a cave diver and I shared few dives with some of the most experienced cave divers in the world like Rick Stanton or Gigi Casati to mention just some of my friends.

I live in Rome with my wife Gaia and our beautiful kids, Guglielmo, Matilda and Leonardo.
