Biologist, marine environmentalist, employee at the National Marine Fisheries Research Institute, at the beginning of her diving adventure (P1 KDP / CMAS). Academic knowledge combined with fascination with marine depths resulted in a passion that she shares while working as a marine educator at the Gdynia Aquarium. Her main purpose is to convince her audience of the unique beauty, but at the same time, fragility and the need for protection of marine ecosystems.
At the conference, she will be speaking about who lives in the Baltic. The Baltic is most often associated with wreck diving and many interesting species can be found at those. What do a flounder and a chameleon have in common? Why is spotting broadnosed and starightnose (pipefish) in seagrass a challenge? Alien species in the Baltic - how did they get here and should you be afraid of them? Those issues and much more will be addressed during the "Life in the Baltic - new species" presentation.
