Sabine Kerkau is a technical wreck and mine diver, photographer and Videographer. She is member of the Women Divers Hall Of Fame Class of 2019. She has dived several hundred wrecks and mines at depths between 10 and 150m. She is part of the founding team of the “Baltc Sea Heritage Rescue Project” in Lithuania and member of the international Explorer Team “Scapehanders”. This projects are committed to wreck protection, wreck search, wreck identification and Ghost net salvage. She and her team work with museums and universities. Some of their results are currently being shown as a major exhibition at the Lithuanian Sea Museum in Klaipeda.
