Rickard Lundberg – was born and raised in the heart of Bergslagen, a historically significant mining district in the middle of Sweden. Growing up surrounded by countless shafts and pits he developed a true passion for the history of mining at an early age. Since then he has spent many hundreds of hours exploring a large number of mines and digging through various archives in the hope to learn more about them. He has been involved in numerous mine related projects, including the opportunity to help develop the diving activities in beautiful mines such as Tuna Hästberg and Långban. Currently he is also a member of Project Bergslagen, a small group of divers highly dedicated to the exploration of previously unexplored mines in the Bergslagen district.
